HVAC Sr. Service Technician II

The HVAC Senior. Technician II is a senior field role responsible for both service and installation work on residential HVAC systems. Day to day, you diagnose and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and boilers, and also complete system replacements and installs when needed. You're trusted to evaluate systems correctly, perform clean, code-compliant work, and communicate clearly with homeowners.

What you'll be doing

• Knock pre-mapped neighborhoods daily, qualify homeowners, and book inspections
• Run the full discovery-to-close cycle on appointments you set or are assigned
• Walk job sites, scope equipment needs, and price replacement vs. Service contracts
• Bring back field intel — objections, pricing pressure, competitor activity — to weekly team huddle

What success looks like

• Day 30: Through onboarding, first commission cleared, hitting daily activity targets
• Month 6: Holding steady close rate and a full pipeline of self-gen plus assigned leads
• Year 1: Top quartile clears $120K+ and is in the conversation for team lead or closer roles

Who we're looking for

• Coachable. Sales experience is a plus but track record of grinding through anything counts more
• Comfortable being measured by output — activity, close rate, and earned commission
• Reliable transportation and comfort with daily field work in all weather
