Senior HVAC Technician

The Senior HVAC Technician role at our team & Heat is a field leadership position focused on diagnostics, ownership, and high-quality execution. Day-to-day, the technician runs residential service calls and leads installations with an emphasis on accurate troubleshooting, clear customer communication, and clean job completion. This is not a "parts changer" position — we expect thoughtful diagnostics, verification of repairs, and strong technical standards.

What you'll be doing

• Knock pre-mapped neighborhoods daily, qualify homeowners, and book inspections
• Run the full discovery-to-close cycle on appointments you set or are assigned
• Walk job sites, scope equipment needs, and price replacement vs. Service contracts
• Bring back field intel — objections, pricing pressure, competitor activity — to weekly team huddle

What success looks like

• Day 30: Through onboarding, first commission cleared, hitting daily activity targets
• Month 6: Producing in the middle of the band — about $153K annualized
• Year 1: Top quartile clears $208K+ and is in the conversation for team lead or closer roles

Who we're looking for

• Coachable. Sales experience is a plus but track record of grinding through anything counts more
• Comfortable being measured by output — activity, close rate, and earned commission
• Reliable transportation and comfort with daily field work in all weather
