Sales Representative

The sales rep will be responsible for identifying and selling solar opportunities in the Chicago area. Leads will come from the company, but sales reps will also be expected to generate their own leads. Compensation has no cap and a strong performer will be able to build their own team to help multiply their earnings.

What you'll be doing

• Knock pre-mapped neighborhoods daily, qualify homeowners, and book inspections
• Run the full discovery-to-close cycle on appointments you set or are assigned
• Coordinate with operations on inspection scheduling and install handoff
• Bring back field intel — objections, pricing pressure, competitor activity — to weekly team huddle

What success looks like

• Day 30: Through onboarding, first commission cleared, hitting daily activity targets
• Month 6: Consistently producing at the median earnings band (~$125K annualized)
• Year 1: Top quartile clears $200K+ and is in the conversation for team lead or closer roles

Who we're looking for

• Coachable. Sales experience is a plus but track record of grinding through anything counts more
• A self starter who is comfortable with solar technology and incentives and wants to be independent to operate how they please
• Comfortable being measured by output — activity, close rate, and earned commission
• Reliable transportation and comfort with daily field work in all weather
