Painting & Drywall Sales Consultant
This is a real consultative sales seat at a Cincinnati-metro home services shop that's actively scaling. Half your pipeline is handed to you (yard signs, referrals, paid search); the other half you build by working the existing book. Average ticket is $4K–$15K, so close rate matters more than door count.
What you'll be doing
- Run 3–5 in-home estimates per day from the booked calendar
- Hold a 35%+ close rate on company-provided leads, 50%+ on self-gen referrals
- Self-source through neighborhood follow-ups, referral asks, and drop-bys on completed jobs
- Own the relationship from discovery through install handoff to subcontractor team
What success looks like
- Day 30: Released from shadow ramp, running independent estimates, first commission cleared.
- Month 6: 8–12 closes per month at the blended rate. ~$85K annualized.
- Year 1: Self-gen pipeline rivals company-provided. Top quartile clears $120K+.

- 2+ years of consultative sales — home services, solar, restoration, kitchen/bath remodel, similar
- Comfortable at the kitchen table. This is a relationship sale, not a script sale.
- Cincinnati metro local (or relocating). Field role.
- Bonus: prior experience self-sourcing in a referral-driven market
