Field Sales Representative – Commercial Energy Program
Each day is simple, flexible, and results-driven. There's no clock-punching and no micromanagement. A typical day includes: Visiting commercial and industrial businesses in your area. Speaking with owners, managers, or decision-makers. Identifying buildings that qualify for a 100% free LED lighting upgrade. Collecting basic information (address, contact, photos if available) Submitting qualified opportunities to our team on to the next location. Once a location is qualified, our team takes over—handling utility rebates, paperwork, approvals, and professional installation.
What you'll be doing
- Prospect commercial accounts via cold outreach, referrals, and existing relationships
- Manage the full deal cycle from discovery through signed contract
- Run in-home estimates and present quotes that win on value, not just price
- Bring back field intel — objections, pricing pressure, competitor activity — to weekly team huddle
What success looks like
- Day 30: Through onboarding, first commission cleared, hitting daily activity targets
- Month 6: Producing in the middle of the band — about $195K annualized
- Year 1: Top quartile clears $520K+ and is in the conversation for team lead or closer roles
Who we're looking for
- Coachable. Sales experience is a plus but track record of grinding through anything counts more
- Comfortable being measured by output — activity, close rate, and earned commission
