Project Consultant
The Project Consultant role is a relationship-driven sales position focused on helping homeowners through the painting process from initial estimate to signed project. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with homeowners, building trust, creating estimates, following our sales process to close deals, following up on leads, and self generating your own leads. What you'll be doing
- Reps run consultative in-home painting sales appointments, expected to generate half of their own leads while servicing company leads, with subcontractors handling labor
- Own the full sales cycle — discovery, demo or estimate, close, and handoff
- Hit daily activity targets that compound into monthly quota
- Run in-home estimates and present quotes that win on value, not just price
- Bring back field intel — objections, pricing pressure, competitor activity — to weekly team huddle
What success looks like
- Day 30: Through onboarding, first commission cleared, hitting daily activity targets
- Month 6: Producing in the middle of the band — about $80K annualized
- Year 1: Top quartile clears $156K+ and is in the conversation for team lead or closer roles
Who we're looking for
- Coachable. Sales experience is a plus but track record of grinding through anything counts more
- Comfortable being measured by output — activity, close rate, and earned commission
