Commercial Re-Roofing Sales Rep
Commercial re-roofing sales role at a margin-first operation refocusing on its core B2B book. You sell into property managers, facility directors, and commercial real estate ownership groups on roof maintenance and replacement contracts ranging from $80K to $400K+ per project.
What you'll be doing
- Outreach to commercial property management firms and facility directors in the assigned territory
- In-person site walks and technical roof assessments on existing commercial buildings
- Bid development in collaboration with the ops team (margin-aware — this is not a race to the lowest price)
- Long-cycle relationship management: 30–90 day sales cycles, multi-project accounts
What success looks like
- Month 2: First bid submitted, pipeline being built.
- Month 6: First closed project; ~$12K–$18K first commission check.
- Year 1: 8–12 closed projects, $150K–$200K annualized. Existing book starts generating renewal/expansion work.
Who we're looking for
- 3+ years of B2B sales — commercial roofing preferred, but commercial HVAC, restoration, or facilities services translate well
- Existing book of property managers or facility directors is a significant plus
- Comfortable on a commercial roof for an inspection. Margin-aware on bid development.
- Patient — these are long-cycle deals at a much higher ticket than residential
