Outside sales representative.
Generally, an outside sales rep would meet at the office in the morning and then have somewhere between one and three appointments scheduled for the day. What you'll be doing
- Roofing sales reps physically handle job demands, run multi-round interviews to filter top candidates, and ramp via weekly monitoring calls and Hire Tracker
- Knock pre-mapped neighborhoods daily, qualify homeowners, and book inspections
- Run the full discovery-to-close cycle on appointments you set or are assigned
- Coordinate with operations on inspection scheduling and install handoff
- Bring back field intel — objections, pricing pressure, competitor activity — to weekly team huddle
What success looks like
- Day 30: Through onboarding, first commission cleared, hitting daily activity targets
- Month 6: Consistently producing at the median earnings band (~$800K annualized)
- Year 1: Sitting in the top quartile of the team and being considered for leadership track
Who we're looking for
- 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in roofing or an adjacent vertical
- Comfortable being measured by output — activity, close rate, and earned commission
- Reliable transportation and comfort with daily field work in all weather
