Business Development Manager

The BDM has the opportunity to build this department from the beginning of our GTM initiative. Developing and maintaining a 'Dealer/Specifier' network creates recurring and compounding commissions for a truly entrepreneurial candidate. We are a start-up with an exit plan and are offering an equity incentive plan for the exceptional team mate.

What you'll be doing

• Own the full sales cycle — discovery, demo or estimate, close, and handoff
• Hit daily activity targets that compound into monthly quota
• Bring back field intel — objections, pricing pressure, competitor activity — to weekly team huddle

What success looks like

• Day 30: Through onboarding, first commission cleared, hitting daily activity targets
• Month 6: Consistently producing at the median earnings band (~$215K annualized)
• Year 1: Top quartile clears $216K+ and is in the conversation for team lead or closer roles

Who we're looking for

• Coachable. Sales experience is a plus but track record of grinding through anything counts more
• Comfortable being measured by output — activity, close rate, and earned commission
