Roofing and Exterior Sales Representative

Pay: Commission-only | $80,000 - $150,000+ per year | Contract (1099)

American Craftsman Services LLC is hiring a Roofing and Exterior Sales Representative in Virginia. This is a commission-only, 1099 contract position. You will be responsible for generating your own leads through door-to-door prospecting and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to closed contract.

What You Will Do

• Prospect residential neighborhoods through door-to-door and pre-set appointments.

• Inspect roofs and exterior systems and identify repair or replacement needs

• Present solutions to homeowners for both retail projects and insurance restoration claims

• Guide customers through the insurance claims process when applicable

• Manage your own pipeline and close contracts independently

• Document all activity using company systems and follow established processes

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle — required

• Smartphone — required

• Physically able to climb roofs and work outdoors daily — required

• Minimum 1 year of outside sales, door-to-door sales, or field sales experience — required

• Self-directed and able to work independently without daily supervision

• Roofing, exterior home improvement, or insurance restoration experience — preferred

• Experience in pest control, solar, or other door-to-door sales fields — also considered

Compensation and Benefits

• Commission: 12% of every closed contract — retail and insurance

• Earning range: $80,000 to $150,000+ annually based on performance

• Gas mileage reimbursement

• Paid training on inspection process, insurance claims workflow, and closing techniques
